From Nail Tech to Beauty Supply Founder
From the first set of nails to a trusted beauty supply line — this is how my craft grew with me.
Starting with One Goal: To Support My Family
When I came to Canada, I didn’t plan to open a salon or build a brand.
All I wanted was honest, steady work — something strong enough to help support my family back home.
Nails were where I began.
I wasn’t the fastest or the flashiest, but I was clean, careful, and determined to do things properly.
As I added waxing and lash extensions to my work, my mindset stayed the same:
Be precise. Be efficient. Respect the time and trust of every client.

Gold Nails Boutique: The Place I Sharpened My Craft

In 2016, my husband and I opened Gold Nails Boutique in Collingwood.
We didn’t open a salon to impress anyone — we simply wanted a space where we could work the right way.
That salon became my quiet classroom.
Every day was another chance to improve, to serve better, and to stay true to the standards I believed in.
Some clients became regulars.
Some became friends.
A few showed up in moments I’ll never forget.
In 2024, our salon was voted Collingwood’s Favourite Nail Salon.
We never chased awards — but that recognition meant something.

Permanent Makeup: A Serious Next Step

A few years ago, I started thinking about how to grow further — not just as a nail tech, but as a full beauty professional.
I explored skincare, massage, and holistic services, but I kept coming back to permanent makeup.
It wasn’t just another service — it was a new level of responsibility.
You’re working on someone’s face. You don’t get to guess.
I trained seriously and earned my certification in 2024.
But to me, a certificate isn’t a finish line.
I’m still learning, still practicing — because real professionals never stop improving

Gold Nail & Beauty Supply: Giving Back to the Craft
In 2021 — the year our daughter Angelina was born — my husband and I began building something new.
Not for profit, but for purpose.
We wanted to create something that could grow with our family, and also support others in the industry who were trying to do things right.
We had seen the gaps:
• Products that looked good but didn’t perform
• Essentials that were hard to find
• Beginners struggling to choose the right tools
So we built Gold Nail & Beauty Supply — not to sell everything, but to curate what matters.
We tested every item ourselves.
If we wouldn’t use it in our salon, we wouldn’t recommend it.

Angelina Builder Gel: Our First Product, Our Second Daughter
The first product we created was deeply personal — Angelina Builder Gel, named after our daughter.
My husband handled the manufacturing side.
I tested every sample on real nails, in real salon conditions.
I wanted it to be:
• Easy to control, even for beginners
• Gentle on sensitive nails
• Self-leveling without running
• Strong but lightweight
• And most importantly — not too hot under the lamp
We didn’t create Angelina Gel to compete with trends.
We made it to solve problems we had seen over and over again —
and to make life easier for those who care about quality.
This product is our way of saying:
“If this craft has taken care of us, we want to give something back to it — with heart, with care, and with consistency.”

What I Still Believe
In everything I do — salon, service, or supply — one belief stays the same:
“Beauty shouldn’t be rushed. It should be built — with clean technique, steady hands, and a heart that never stops learning.“
